All about AGNIPATH SCHEME 2022.
Indian Army is not only an army it,s feelings of millions of people living in the Indian territory . People join it just for serving nation and not for money. Because surviving in the minus temperature of siachen is not possible without the dedication and feelings of serving Bharat Mata.
In this article we will talk about new scheme launched by Indian Government for recruitment of Defence Personnel i.e. AGNIPATH SCHEME. This article will include following things :-
1.) What is newly introduced Agnipath Scheme ?
2.) What are the provision under AGNIPATH SCHEME ?

INTRODUCTION
AGNIPATH SCHEME is a newly introduced way by government of India for recruiting soldiers in the different kind of Indian Army i.e. Airforce, India Navy, and Land Armies. This scheme is for the recruitment of Amies below the commissioned officers. This scheme has been launched on 14 june 2022.
PROVISIONS
Some points related to above mentioned scheme:-
- This Scheme is for both Male and Female aspirants
- Age group is 17.5 to 21 years.(After protest upper age limit raised to 23 for 2022)
- Recruitment will be twice in a year for Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Airforce .
- Posts will below the Cadre Rank.
- Service will be for 4 years ( six month for training and 3.5 years of service)
- After retirement Agniveers can apply for the permanent cadre but not more than 25% will of batch will be recruited.
- At the end of this tenure of 4 years they will get 11.71 lakh rupees ( But will not get pension)
REASONS OF PROTEST:-
There are different reasons for the protest of peoples against newly introduced scheme :-
- Short Tenure :- This scheme provides short tenure for service, that is not good for the people from the point of view of job stability. Because only 25% will be recruited again in permanent cadre .
- No Pension after retirement:- As in our previous recruitment process Pensions were given to the army personnel after the retirement.
- Army jobs seems like contractual job:- If a soldier’s job is now turned into a contractual employment, it might not motivate aspirants who hope for job security, pension and honour.
- When previous recruitment process was good enough, then why scheme came into existence.
- Less Training:- Recreuitment in Indian Army is for Nation and its not a joke. So, Government should think over it.
